"Soyez réalistes, demandez l'impossible!" or "Be realistic, demand the impossible!"
This iconic slogan from the Paris student protests of 1968 captured the spirit of rebellion, as protesters called for a profound social transformation, fueled by their anger at the hypocrisy and pretense of the capitalist system. The revolts of 1968, which spread across the globe, continue to inspire today, in a world still wracked by the desperate need for social justice and equality.
All it takes is the courage to break free from the chains of this false black-and-white world and demand the Impossible.
The work is part of the “Let's Start A Revolution” series.
